"Onguard" your family

Since starting my journey I have been researching natural and organic products that I can use throughout the house. I don't want to just make the change in one element of my life such as my skincare, I want this change to be in all aspects.
When ordering my essential oils I learnt about the natural protection for all the family with dōTERRA Onguard. This last week we have had a lovely blanketing of snow. Don't get me wrong I love the snow, so much so that my husband and I went on a 6 mile snow walk - I was in my element, I felt so invigorated, rejuvenated and happy because that’s how this weather makes me feel. But, there are always repercussions of this type of weather and germs and bugs are the nemesis.
The dōTERRA on guard range provides natural antioxidant defenders, supports respiratory function, protects against seasonal threats, cleanses and purifies the air and for cleaning provides a non toxic cleaning agent.
I am gradually using up all of my current products, whether these be cleaning items, skincare, toiletries or disposable non environmentally friendly items. As each item is used up I will be replacing it (if needed) with environmentally friendly, organic & natural, cruelty free products which do not have any toxins in. I know this will be a gradual process, but to make sure my 'back to nature' journey is sustainable and permanent I need to provide time to adapt to these changes. This is my onguard range at the minute and I am beginning to use it throughout the home to support my move towards using natural and organic products within my whole life.
The dōTERRA roll on is one of my newest additions to the collection along with the cleaner concentrate. I purchased the roll on so that it can be applied to my little boys' chests and bottoms of their feet during the winter months. With the snow this last week - I'm so grateful that I had ordered it. The thing I like most about this roll on is that my 3 year old son has taken a liking to it and will quite happily roll it on the soles of his feet himself before putting his socks on. This teaching on self-care and prevention against germs using natural products to the next generation is one which I am enjoying and proud of.
What I am liking about the cleaner concentrate is just how little is needed, which makes it so cost effective. It has so many uses and with it being a concentrate, you create the amount you want. To increase the environmentally friendly aspect of my life, when spray bottles are emptied I am rinsing them fully and using them as my dōTERRA cleaning bottles for the below different cleaning uses:
MULTI-PURPOSE CLEANER: Mix 2 tbsp of concentrate per 24 oz. of water.
BATHROOMS: Mix 3 tbsp of concentrate per 24 oz. of water.
DISHES: Mix 3 tbsp of concentrate per gallon of water.
TOUGH JOBS: Apply concentrate directly on designated area and let soak.
My under the sink cupboard is slowly beginning to become tidier and emptier as I am finding that for every one product the mass market sells for a 'specific job' there are natural products which can be used which cover a range of different purposes. I am learning every day and I am thoroughly enjoying developing my knowledge on how I can look after my family using natural and organic products which will support their health rather than creating an environment with synthetic toxins which is what I've done until commencing my journey.
